Abeking & Rasmussen announced the start of their largest motor yacht to date: the 118m 6507

Unfortunately, the photo of the first step of the hull construction is the only one we can see. No rendering how the 118m yacht will look, when 6507 leaves the shed in Lemwerder. Just a few details: Joseph Dirand designed the vessel with a Neptune/Nemo lounge (a window half underwater – example) and a large pool. The yacht carries a submarine and several tenders and toys.

For the construction process, Abeking & Rasmussen uses a new laser welding method. The Photon AG from Berlin developed it together with A&R to get smoother surfaces with fewer reworks.
