Victory Design unveiled the 50m design concept Bolide 170.

The Bolide 170 is a range extension of the Bolide 80 currently under construction at Persico Marine – known for high-performance sailing boats made of carbon fiber. Even the Bolide 80 is a carbon construction with reinforcement of Microtex and structural cores by Diab. Able to power up to 75 knots, the cruising speed will be 55 knots.

The Bolide 170 will have a Human Machine Interface (HMI) developed with Böning Ship Automation and Xenta to handle the yacht easily at the maximum speed of 70 knots with the propulsion of turbines and electric engines.

“It is a Formula 1 range but easy and safe to drive, achieving high performance with reduced fuel consumption per mile: by 50 % compared to yachts of the same length, thanks to its technological assets. The new design of the Bolide 170 was studied by Victory’s engineers, both in the multi-motor diesel version, with sprint speeds of up to 50 knots, and in a special hybrid version with four gas turbines and electric motors, capable of reaching over 70 knots.”

The stern area transforms into an extensive beach club by folding down some terraces. Furthermore, there is an Opacmare Transformer lifting system as well.
