AMELS' mother company DAMEN launched a 62m vessel of their SeaXplorer line.
This 62m unit is the first one of the SeaXplorers. A second yacht – the 77m LA DATCHA will see the light next year. The customized yacht features exterior design by Azure Yacht Design and interior design by Carlo Torre of Monaco Yacht Temptation. The naval architecture has been done by the experienced Damen in-house team. Alongside a fully certified helipad, the yacht has a helicopter hangar to protect the air tender.
Polar class and autonomy of 30 days make her a real explorer yacht to explore remote areas around the world.
Siemens delivered their BlueDrive hybrid system with three generators and electric engines.
