The hull and superstructure of the new 37m trawler styled motor yacht designed by Guido de Groot  get sandblasted and married at Wim van der Valk

The shipyard already started with plumbing and piping to create the classic art nouveau inspired Guido de Groot interior design of the trawler styled motor yacht. The interior will be made of Entandrophragma cylindricum Sprague Mahogany combined with Mahogany Crotch and Madrona Burl inlays.

The interior layout features 4 cabins (owner plus 6 guests) and space for 6 crew members in 3 cabins.

Her hull is equipped with the all new AntiRoll 2 axis retractable fin stabilizing system (the first yacht worldwide fitted with AntiRoll). As the owner was very open to adopting new and innovative features, he decided to implement this particular system.
The fins rotate during sailing (underway) and move up and down when moored or at anchor (zero-speed). The curved, high-aspect ratio fins reduce drag compared to conventional fin systems and have a positive effect on the fuel consumption.

The Trawler 37M is due for delivery in spring 2015.
