The new Super Sub by U-Boat Worx dives down to 300 meters and has a maximum speed of 10 knots.

One of the primary design priorities of U-Boat Worx has always been to provide an optimal and clear view for experiencing the underwater world. To achieve this, a fully acrylic pressure hull has been strategically positioned at the front of the submersible, offering an unobstructed view in all directions. This design choice ensures that ballast tanks, batteries, or other components do not hinder the view.

The SHARC Controller is crucial in ensuring a thrilling ride for guests. It provides that the hydrofoils perfectly synchronize with the robust thruster systems. This synchronization guarantees the most exhilarating experience for guests. The hydrofoils at the back of the submarine allow for more effective control of the thrust flow, enabling sharp turns and banking maneuvers.

Additionally, the Super Sub is equipped with an auto-heading system. When activated, this system automatically maintains the submersible’s current heading, whether following a specific course or approaching an object of interest. This intelligent pilot assistance feature enhances the overall functionality of the submersible.

The U-Boat Worx Information System (UIS) provides the pilot with direct access to all relevant information through a user-friendly touchscreen display. Based on programmable logic controllers (PLCs), this sensor network ensures that the necessary information is readily available, facilitating diving activities.

Like other exceptional creations by U-Boat Worx, the Super Sub, certified by DNV, is equipped with cutting-edge safety systems. One such feature is the ‘maximum depth protection,’ which prevents the pilot from descending beyond the submarine’s designated maximum operating depth. If the submersible exceeds this limit, the safety feature will automatically raise it until it is within the certified depth range.

The Safety Buoy is a distinctive characteristic of U-Boat Worx submersibles. When deployed, it marks the submarine’s position on the water’s surface. In case of an emergency, a significant drop in weight can be manually released from within the vessel to enhance buoyancy and aid in resurfacing. Furthermore, each submarine, including the Super Sub, has at least 96 hours of life support.

The price starts at 5.2 Million EUR.
