The Riva 70 Metri will be built for a repeat client and brand supporter.

The luxury yacht’s cutting-edge technology, sleek design, and unmatched comfort distinguish it. Equipped with advanced features, sophisticated aesthetics, and unparalleled luxury, the Riva 70 Metri showcases top-notch performance and eco-friendliness through its modern hybrid propulsion system, energy recovery technology, and a PTO/PTI system, establishing a new benchmark for eco-friendly yacht construction. A significant focus was also placed on enhancing the yacht’s interior sound quality, achieved through cutting-edge noise reduction and vibration control technologies, along with an improved stabilization system.

The owner, a repeat Riva client and a passionate supporter of the brand collaborated with the design team to bring a vision to life, crafting a luxury yacht that, like many Rivas in recent times, is a testament to the partnership between Officina Italiana Design, the company established by Mauro Micheli and Sergio Beretta, the Product Strategy Committee headed by Piero Ferrari, and the Ferretti Group Engineering Department.

70m Riva Luxury Yacht

“Riva 70 Metri promises to set the bar for thrilling experiences in the years to come. She’s a superyacht of timeless beauty that will take the magnificent universe of Riva’s style features and detailing into a new dimension, combining it with cutting-edge navigation and environmental sustainability technology,” said Ferretti Group CEO Alberto Galassi. “A manifesto of style, design and innovation, this spectacular flagship will lead the fantastic fleet of new Riva masterpieces with majestic elegance.”

“The sophisticated and extremely selective owner had a very clear idea: to build a timeless boat with classic lines and a green spirit for cruising in a style that fully respects the sea. He had been impressed by the Riva 50METRI and dreamed of a design inspired by it, one dominated by aesthetics and beyond the fashions and market logic that so often influence the creation of a new product. So we embraced this challenge with enthusiasm and conviction, because these values represent our firm’s DNA and form part of our design philosophy,” commented Mauro Micheli, Chief Designer, and Sergio Beretta, CEO at Officina Italiana Design.
