The wallywind110 is first presentation of the new wallywind range.

The much-anticipated debut of the Wallywind110 is set for the Monaco Yacht Show 2024 (September 25-28), marking a momentous occasion with several vital significances. This event will coincide with the brand’s 30th anniversary, and it will be the inaugural model in Wallywind’s performance cruiser lineup, which will also showcase the Wallywind130 and Wallywind150.

The development of this first semi-custom sailboat model, following Wally’s integration into the Ferretti Group, commenced in 2022 and has now been realized with its June launch. Furthermore, a second Wallywind110 is already in the works.

The sailboat features a sleek all-carbon hull, expertly laminated in a female mold. It will captivate attendees at the Monaco Yacht Show with its vibrant metallic blue paint that subtly changes in hue with the shifting light. Wally’s commitment to leading the sailing superyacht market and its emphasis on performance is underscored by its 6.95m telescopic keel, carbon fiber twin rudders, and impressive 48m Hall Spars rig.

The wallywind110 features a carbon-fiber hull and a performance rig. Wally plans three models in the new range from 110 feet up to 150 feet with a focus on performance and long-range cruising in comfort. judel/vrolijk & co did the naval architecture.

“The wallywind110 is the equivalent of the Grand Touring car in the automotive world,” says Wally Managing Director Stefano de Vivo. “It is a very powerful yet smooth long-distance cruising machine – but one that could become a serious challenger in a race – if you felt so inclined. The boat is ideal for an experienced sailor, maybe someone who has had boats in the 60-80ft range and is now willing to make the jump to the 100ft size range to get the extra comforts.”

Founder and Chief Designer Luca Bassani confirms: “The 110 is a true hybrid because it offers the volumes and comforts of a deckhouse yacht, but with a flush-deck that offers the spirit and the performance of a racing boat. The raised bulwarks do the job of disguising the fact that this is a raised
saloon yacht, with the engine room beneath the floor. That means all the advantages of the layout without the compromised aesthetics.
