HERMÈS is a hydro foiling yacht concept by Aristotelis Betsis.
Hydrofoils are reducing the water resistance of the ship and allowing a fuel-efficient journey at high speeds. The designer chose a system with retractable foils to explore also shallow waters. Moreover, the hull shaped “bullet form” supports the aerodynamics of the yacht to reduce the air resistance.
