ACQUAINTANCE is the collaboration result of Vitruvius Yachts (a brand by Philippe Briand) and Dutch luxury yacht builder OCEANCO.

ACQUAINTANCE is designed as a Passenger Yacht Code (PYC) motor yacht and will carry up to 24 guests. She should burn 20 percent less fuel than other vessels in her size.

She features a swimming pool on the main deck, the salon is showered in light and yields a 270-degree panoramic view. On most yachts, the guest cabins are on the lower deck. ACQUAINTANCE has 10 guest cabins forward on the main deck. So the guests can benefit from large windows and view over the sea.

The owner’s area is located above the bridge deck. The private terrace has no external access. So the owners have a lot of privacy. From the aft-facing bedroom suite, there is a 180- degree panoramic view and forward is an observation lounge with much the same vantage point but facing the opposite direction. The top sundeck —accessible via the owner’s deck —has a sun-protected bar and whirlpool aft.

The lowest guest deck onboard features a beach club, cinema, gym and spa at sea level and sports a skylight from which one can view the underside of the swimming pool overhead on the main deck. A garage supports a limo tender up to 12-meters in length as well as a myriad of other water-sports toys. Embarking and disembarking takes place amidships. When the beach club door is closed there is no exterior access to the yacht, thus ensuring 100 percent security.
