The Y9 was announced last year with other interior designers, now the Bill Tripp design comes up with an Andrew Winch interior

The performance-oriented Tripp 90/Y9 is part of the YYachts’ Custom Division and has been created to compete on regattas and comfortable cruises. A crew of three persons can sail the 30-meter yacht. A lot of weight is saved by using carbon fiber for the hull, deck, and rigging. It is not the first collaboration between YYachts and Bill Tripp: He also designed the sailing yacht model Y7/Bella.

Unfortunately, there are no interior pictures at the time of publication, but Bill Tripp comments the Andrew Winch interior design: “Onboard, you feel like you’re in a luxury hotel. A fantastic job”.

The shipyard describes the interior design as follows: “The spacious interior is minimalist and open-plan, benefiting from plenty of natural light. Drawing stylistic inspiration from the U.S. East Coast and mid-century Scandinavian influences, as well as soft leather and light oak wood, the ambiance exudes understated elegance.”
