Cantiere delle Marche announced the sale of the Explorer 40.22 project.
Explorer 40.22 has been designed by Tommaso Spadolini who designed also the client’s previous yachts. The yacht features naval architecture by Hydro Tec. After owning a planning yacht, he decided to switch to a displacement yacht and requested a robust explorer with a clean design. Furthermore, large exterior and interior spaces to spend relaxed holidays with the family.
Explorer 40.22 will have a full-beam owners’ suite forward on the main deck, alongside six guest cabins (three double/three twin-bed) and three cabins for the crew on the lower deck (with crew mess). The captain’s cabin is directly connected to the wheelhouse.
The yacht is powered by two Caterpillar C32 Acert (970 kW each). The top speed is 14 knots and has an operating range of 3,500 nautical miles at a speed of 10 knots.
