DIVA is a German collaboration between the Lloyd Werft and design studio judel/vrolijk - both from Bremerhaven.

judel/vrolijk – usually known for fast cruising and racing yachts, designed a 97m motor yacht concept together with the Lloyd Werft. The shipyard is known for the 115m explorer yacht LUNA and has the 140m yacht project SOLARIS under construction. Moreover, Lloyd Werft will welcome the 182m research yacht REV Ocean for the final outfitting.

The six-deck motor yacht DIVA comes with very sharp hull lines. The radar mast and exhaust system is a very fresh design element that reminds me of a gear tray of bluewater sailing yachts but also reflects the shape of sails.

Four generators – each with a power of 951 kW are part of the hybrid propulsion with electric pods.

DIVA’s bow area has a touch-and-go helipad with the “traditional” circled H to mark the helicopter landing place. As you can see in the rendering above, circles are elementary design elements from the bow to the stern for several lounges and pools. The bridge deck lounge features a fireplace. The sundeck has two lounges. One of these circular places is an al-fresco dining area.

DIVA's interior styling

There are no public interior renderings – the yard describes the interior design as follows:

“For the interior of DIVA judel/vrolijk created an Asian-Scandinavian look – tidy, clean but still with a feel-good factor.”

The owner’s private area contains office, two bedrooms and his/hers bathrooms. The main deck accommodates ten guests in five cabins.
