Benetti presented the concept OASIS 40M at the 2018 Singapore Yacht Show. Now sold to Tim Ciasulli

The new owner Tim Ciasulli is a former World Champion offshore powerboat racer with four world speed records. The Benetti OASIS 40M is an RWD design and comes with a large aft deck/beach club area on sea level. The yacht will be a new interpretation of the use of internal and external spaces.

“Oasis 135’, a 41m displacement yacht with a glass fiber hull and superstructure, is for young, sporty families with a healthy, modern lifestyle. This means the onboard spaces are roomy and welcoming, the design is as refined as it is informal, and contact with the sea plays a foreground role.”

The project started on-speculation and was for sale with an asking price of €21,800,300.

“I’ve been going fast my whole life,” comments Tim Ciasulli, “So when it came time to build a yacht, I wanted to collaborate with a shipyard that shared the same core values that my wife and I believe in: integrity, passion and accountability! Plus, we didn’t want – another – job, so it had to be quick, easy and fun. We expeditiously negotiated a great deal, and in just two meetings, nailed down the equipment, interior decor and colors…just the way we wanted! They are real professionals, at every level, and made the yacht buying experience a really positive life adventure!”

Interior Benetti OASIS 135

The interior comes from the drawing boards of the New York-based studio bonetti/kozerski architecture. The design studio explains the style:

“On this yacht, we wanted the settings to have an unprecedented fluidity, which is why identical materials and colours are used for both the interiors and exteriors, giving a sense of apparent informality to what is in fact an extremely elegant and sophisticated yacht”

The interior has five guest cabins for up to ten persons and five crew cabins for up to nine persons.
