Another classic Feadship is fresh like new: the 15m ZEPHYR from 1939 received has been rebuilt.

ZEPHYR was built by Royal de Vries in 1939 for a repeat client. The De Voogt design got the hull number 370. At her time, the motor yacht was innovative and one of the first tank tested yachts. The frames, bulkheads and engine bearers were made of aluminum. With her original twin Kermath Ford V8 engines, she reached a speed of 16.5 knots. Now she got two four-cylinder Yanmar engines.

The current owner is an experienced Dutch yachtsman who found the yacht in bad conditions two years ago. The former owner didn’t realize how expensive a rebuilt project can be. Feadship partnered with Younique Yachts – a shipyard specialized to build and refit smaller yachts.

Interior of ZEPHYR

Unfortunately, there are no interior photos but according to Feadship, ZEPHYR got a “relatively modern and tasteful interior design, with a degree of comfort that is significantly above that of the original yacht.”. The owners’ cabin in the bow area, while a children’s cabin in the aft area. The open galley and salon that offers beds for guests are amidships.
