Is the new Sunreef 40 Open small or big? Anyway, it seems a great one!
The new Sunreef 40 Open Foiling Cat comes with a length of just 12.75-meters, but with a beam of 5.20-meters. This beam can be normally found on yachts with a length of over 20-meters. Okay, that is the typical advantage of a catamaran yacht. But it is an open day boat that features extensive sunbathing and/or socializing area that can also be transformed into an overnight cabin.
Thanks to the retractable hydrofoil system, the yacht has a minimum of water resistant and powers up to 60 knots (depending on engine configuration). It’s possible to equip her with 2 x 425 HP to 2 x 1100 HP inboard engines or 2 x 627 HP to 4 x 400 HP outboard engines.
At the aft are folding platforms that extend the beam furthermore.
