ICON Yachts is working on a new 68m conversion project RAGNAR
The base for RAGNAR is the ex-offshore vessel SANABORG with a Polar Class 5 hull that was built in 2012 in the Netherlands.
The new lines are designed by the British design studio RWD. The yacht will accommodate 16 guests in six guest cabins and two owner staterooms. Alongside the typical standard features like a massage room, sauna and full-size gym, the yacht will have an ice pool and a snow room. Snowball fight inside a yacht. In the Med. Why not?
The explorer yacht will feature a certified helicopter landing pad for an EC 145. But the toy garage will host a lot more stuff. Here an excerpt of the planned toys:
- 1 x Ripsaw EV2 (known from the movie Fast & Furious 8)
- 2 x 8m tenders
- 2 x 6m RIBs
- 1 x Submarine for two people
- 2 x jet skis
- 2 x laser sailing boats
- 1 x RIB Castoldi 26
6,000 nautical miles of operation range is enough to call her a go-anywhere yacht to explore the world. The vessel has an electric pod propulsion and air-cooled generators that don’t need salt water from the outside for cooling. So it is possible to beach the yacht (by the way, it has a draft of 3.15m).
