Italian design studio Nuvolari Lenard created the interior of the new Lexus LY 650.
The Lexus LY 650 has been built by Marquis Yachts in the United States. The development of the motor yacht was influenced by the luxury car manufacturer Lexus and its mother company Toyota. The 20-meter yacht is powered by two Volvo Penta IPS 800 engines.
The price of the LY 650 is about €4,440,000 ($4,850,000)

The yacht’s interior accommodates three double guest cabins with en-suite bathrooms. Large windows are developing a car-like feeling to look at the environment around. The designers chose a mix of dark brown wood, taupe, and cream for the interior style.
Carlo Nuvolari, Naval Architect & Senior Partner of the studio comments:
“We had to really push the envelope in terms of the materials we selected. Of course, they needed to be marine-grade and to meet regulatory standards, but they also had to echo that premium ‘Lexus look’. Leather was naturally an important part of conveying the sensation of being in a car, and we chose the same high-quality cream leather both for inside and outside. We also designed leather features in places that you would not usually expect to find them on a boat, such as on door panels with elaborate stitching patterns. It was very effective.”
