The new Jongert 3200P (P = Performance Line) is under construction
The Performance Line is the further development of Jongert’s Modern Line to compete in regattas but also to sail around the world with a more sporty looking exterior design. Thanks to lifting keel with a minimum draft of four meters, it’s also possible to visit shallow waters. The foredeck tender storage is also a pool when the tender is in the water.
The Jongert 3200 measures 32 meters in length and presents the first unit of a range of yachts with lengths of 28, 32, 36, and the 40m flagship.
The performance calculations were done by Doug Peterson while the exterior and interior styling were made by Rhoades Young. Both are well-known yacht designers.
Interior Design
The interior of the Jongert 3200P has a “New York apartment-feel” with textured woods, leather paneling, and soft furnishings. The owner lives in a full-beam suite at the aft with direct access to the sea with a private beach deck. The deckhouse features dining, seating, navigation desk, and a 180-degree view.
The designer comments:
“Rhoades Young Design are delighted to be working with the prestigious Jongert shipyard on the launch of their impressive new range of performance sailing yachts. A highlight of the design is a large amount of glass area which increases the interaction between the inside and outside of the yacht, exemplified by the full-beam Owners Suite which opens onto the large aft beach deck via large glass doors.
An assortment of exterior seating locations also enables a variety of experiences to be enjoyed whilst onboard, be it dining in the main cockpit, navigating from the helm stations, or relaxing on the aft beach deck, yachts of the Jongert Performance line provides for every occasion.”
The yacht is for sale and comes with an asking price of EUR 11,500,000.
