The Italian yacht design duo Marco Ferrari and Alberto Franchi (Ferrari Franchi Design) unveiled the new 52m sailing yacht concept BLUE SAPPHIRE with hybrid propulsion.

Blue Sapphire is a very modern designed performance cruiser with racing genes. Personally, I like those ones who are modern, fast and equipped with state of the art technology. Additionally, this design is eye candy for me.

The yacht features a jacuzzi with a waterfall at the stern. The stern flap transforms into a beach club. The 6.00 m main tender is stored in a garage on the foredeck. The garage can also be used as a second cockpit. Another garage is at the stern with a 4.5 m crew tender and a collection of water toys.

The deck house has large windows and a skylight to maximize the daylight in the interior. Blue Sapphire accommodates 10 guests in four double cabins. The cabins can be transformed into a gym or a 42 m² owner’s suite with two skylights.

A crew of 8 has their area with five cabins, crew mess, laundry, and galley. Thanks to the hybrid propulsion, this yacht has more comfort than a traditional diesel engine is greener.
