Heesen announced joining the hull and superstructure of Project JADE (YN 20350) of the 5000-series.

Jade is a third of the 5000-series (50m semi-displacement) all-aluminum yacht with a top speed of 23 knots and a shallow draft of just 2.15 meters. The vessel welcomes 12 guests in five cabins. Omega Architects designed the exterior, Cristiano Gatto the interior.

“This combination of speed and shallow draft makes the design ideal for cruising in shallow coastal waters such as the Bahamas, as well as the crystal clear waters of the Mediterranean,” commented Heesen’s CCO, Friso Visser. “This is a compelling proposition for many yacht owners.”

The high speed is achieved thanks to the streamlined, lightweight aluminum hull, which boasts an efficiency gain of 12 percent compared to the previous 50-meter Satori design, coupled with two IMO III-compliant MTU 16V 4000 M65L engines. Heesen is the first shipyard to deliver fast, sub-500GT yachts that comply with the new emission regulations.

Delivery is scheduled for Spring 2024.
