Benetti delivered the first of three gigayachts - the 108m FB275, christened EJI
The 108m motor yacht EJI (aka Benetti FB275) with Lloyd’s certification has over 1,000 square meters of outdoor spaces. Highlights are 1.5-meter fire pit on the bridge deck and an observation deck. The accommodation is for 22 guests and 29 crew.
Exterior design and décor are from the British design studio RWD, while the interior design was a Benetti in-house job. Pierluigi Ausonio of P.L.A.N.A. Design made the naval architecture.
EJI carries two 14-meter tenders, one 10-meter custom tender, and eight jet skis.
Schottel Pump Jet Animation
The propulsion system contains a Schottel Pump Jet paired with two MTU 2880 kW engines. The Pump Jet also offers electric propulsion. FB275 reaches a top speed of 18.5 knots and a cruising speed of 14 knots with a range of 6,500 nautical miles. The fuel capacity is 345,000 liters.
