ASYA was launched in December 2014. Now after the sea trials, Heesen delivered her on 3rd March 2015 to her owners.

ASYA features an exterior design by Frank Laupman of Omega Architects and interior design by Bannenberg & RowellASYA represents the restyled 47m-Class by Dutch yacht builder Heesen. It has now the rescue tender in an enclosed bay in front of the wheelhouse. Also, the crew accommodation meets now LY3 requirements.

Heesen describes the interior design as follows:

“distinctly Far Eastern, restful feel, inspired by the designs of Dieter Rams, Frank Lloyd-Wright, and Tadao Ando.”

By the way, some Apple products are inspired by the designs of Dieter Rams too.

 

Asya Yacht Interior Heesen Yachts

The yacht is powered by two MTU8V 4000 M63 diesel engines. They give her a top speed of 15 knots and an operating range of 4,000 nautical miles at 12 knots.
