Legacy Superyachts (a brand of Lazzara) presents the Legacy LC60 - a 60 feet catamaran yacht with a planning hull.
The 60-feet catamaran reaches a top speed of 45 knots, powered by four 600 hp V12 Mercury outboard engines. The cruising speed is 30 knots. The yacht will be built in full aluminum in an enclosed and open deck version. Naval architecture was done by Ian Ombres and Boksa Marine Design.
“We wanted to create the ultimate family boat,” said Joe Lazzara, president and CEO of Legacy Superyachts. “The platform of the catamaran is ideal for some of the objectives we wanted to achieve.”
Features like articulating stairs allow easier access on and off the dock, especially for agility-challenged yachtsmen yearning to safely cruise in luxury and style. “Boarding and getting in and out of the water will
be pretty seamless,” said Lazzara
Interior of the LC60
The interior has been designed b Alexandre Thiriat, but there are no interior renderings. There are two cabins in each hull with en-suits. Two double bed cabins with direct access to the aft deck and two twin bed cabins.
