Damen starts building a 75m yacht support vessel - their largest unit of this product range.
The design of the new 75m Yacht Support vessel reminds of the bold SeaXplorer range by the Dutch shipyard Damen – the mother company of Amels. The project name is YS 7512.
The new vessel will have a helicopter hangar, a lot of additional tenders and toys that can’t be transported by the mother yacht, it accommodates 45 people (guests, additional crew, helicopter pilot et cetera) and environmental equipment. Moreover, YS 7512 can transport emergency relief support equipment in standard freight containers.
Wright Maritime Group consults the custom design and technical development on behalf of the client. When the ship is delivered in 2022, it is the 17th Yacht Support vessel by Damen.

Another version of the Damen Yacht Support 7512
During the Monaco Yacht Show 2019, Damen and Amels presented another version of the Damen Yacht Support 7512. In this version, the shipyard moved the helicopter hangar amidships and added a water plane at the stern.
