The influence of car brands in sailing and luxury yachting comes more and more. The order has no judging.
1. Mercedes-Benz (Arrow 460)
Together with Silver Arrow Marine, Mercedes-Benz Style developed the Arrow 460
2. Aston Martin (AM37)
Aston Martin designed the AM37 that is offered by Quintessence Yachts. Mulder Design delivered the Naval Architecture.
3. Bugatti and Palmer Johnson
Niniette 66 is the name of the output of the collaboration between Palmer Johnson and Bugatti.
4. BMW - Technology Partner of ORACLE Team USA
BMW provided valuable technology transfer in aerodynamics, lightweight design, and the steering systems. Furthermore, BMW Yachtsport supports some other regattas.
5. Audi Sailing
Audi Sailing supports clubs, the Kiel Week and the German sailing league (Deutsche Segel-Bundesliga).
6. Land Rover BAR
BAR stands for Ben Ainslie Racing – the four-time Olympic winner. The commercial team performs under Land Rover BAR with several private investors and commercial partners for the 35th America’s Cup.

Never heard of REMS? That must be the first yacht and car manufacturer collaboration of all time. Gottlieb Daimler of developed the boat with Lürssen. REMS had a 1.5 HP gasoline engine.
