The wallywind110 is first presentation of the new wallywind range.
The Wallywind110 is constructed from carbon fiber composite, a material that Wally introduced to the sailing community and continues to dominate. Its high-strength carbon spars and rigging, along with its finely tuned judel/vrolijk & co hull, offer thrilling sailing experiences and the potential to win major races—all with a small crew. The blue hull reflects a unique color based on sunlight.
The cockpit area stands out from larger yachts, boasting over 80 square meters of incredibly comfortable sofas, sunbeds, and casual dining areas that can be arranged in various configurations to meet the owner’s preferences. The area is free from sailing controls, which are all placed aft. Even when sailing, passengers can relax and enjoy the ride without any effort. And unlike many large sailing vessels, the cockpit features no steps – it’s a continuous, smooth deck that extends all the way to the sunbeds.
Furthermore, this area is highly equipped for guests. On the Wallywind110, fridges are cleverly concealed here, eliminating the need to request refreshments from the galley below—simply take what you desire!
Another hallmark of Wally’s design is the sleek, low profile the boat presents from the water. It has a flat deck with almost no coach roof to break the lines.
There’s a foredeck lounge area, but the ultimate outdoor relaxation spot is Wally’s renowned terrace-on-the-sea at the stern. This feature has been a key element in making the brand renowned, and on the wallywind110, it serves as an impressive social hub right on the water. Lounge, chat, or watch a water sports event unfold..
The development of this first semi-custom sailboat model, following Wally’s integration into the Ferretti Group, commenced in 2022 and has now been realized with its June launch. Furthermore, a second Wallywind110 is already in the works.
The sailboat features a sleek all-carbon hull expertly laminated in a female mold. It will captivate attendees at the Monaco Yacht Show with its vibrant metallic blue paint that subtly changes hue with the shifting light. Wally’s commitment to leading the sailing superyacht market and its emphasis on performance are underscored by its 6.95m telescopic keel, carbon fiber twin rudders, and impressive 48m Hall Spars rig.
Founder and Chief Designer Luca Bassani confirms: “The 110 is a true hybrid because it offers the volumes and comforts of a deckhouse yacht, but with a flush-deck that offers the spirit and the performance of a racing boat. The raised bulwarks do the job of disguising the fact that this is a raised
saloon yacht, with the engine room beneath the floor. That means all the advantages of the layout without the compromised aesthetics.
Interior of the wallywind110
The design of a raised deck saloon offers several key advantages regarding the space below the deck. Notably, the rest of the vessel is available for living areas by allocating a space beneath the saloon for the engine room and other technical gear. This allows the Wallywind110 to accommodate up to four spacious guest cabins and three for the crew, along with the possibility of a bar, office, or TV room.
The interior layout can easily be adjusted to meet the owner’s preferences, providing ample room for customization. The raised saloon serves as the heart of life below deck, featuring hull lights, windows, and skylights to allow for abundant natural light. Galma boasts a large dining table that can seat up to eight people, positioned on the starboard side, with deep sofas arranged on the port side.
The interior design of the initial Wallywind110 model was the result of a strong collaboration between the Wally design team, led by Luca Bassani, and Studio Santa Maria Magnolfi. The design incorporates light woods, soft upholstery, and carbon fiber accents, creating a modern, laid-back atmosphere that makes the yacht a comfortable retreat while subtly showcasing its speed capabilities.
