The yacht design studio De Basto Designs created the yacht concept VOLARE with the Dutch yacht builder Oceanco.

The name Volare, meaning ‘to fly’ in Italian, encapsulates the spirit of this creation.

The grasp of the changing profoundly influences the contemporary architecture of Volare and the wants of today’s yacht owners. For these customers, flawless craftsmanship and superior technical skills are essential. However, they are also drawn to unique designs that stir feelings and creativity, moving away from the standard looks of the past.

De Basto Design’s challenge is to blend stunning aesthetics with Oceanco’s exact engineering. Its structure floats on water, reminiscent of a white heron gliding over the surface. This visual beauty is more than just ornamental, like the heron.
