PURA - 40m by Royal Huisman and Mani Frers

The new sailing yacht concept in four different versions. The shown renderings are design ideas based on a core. There is the Retro version that remembers me of the smaller 26m TULIP that was also designed by the Frers family. The other ones are a classic version and a modern version.

There are optional packages available like the Regatta package with lifting keel, performance boom, and full CF rigging. The World Voyage package contains retractable stern thruster, hydraulic telescopic passerelle, and an extended NavCom. The Eco pack features an additional battery to reduce the use of generators at night and a shaft generator to load the batteries during sailing journeys.

Although 80 % of the design process is already done, Royal Huisman marked, PURA is a custom yacht. There is a core but exterior design and interior can be custom made but you save time and costs. Do you want another bow? Or another superstructure? The yard welcomes your own ideas. The finished platform contains:

• Propulsion, power generation and management, hotel and security systems, HVAC, hydraulics etc.
• Mast, rig, sail plan and sail handling
• Fully design-engineered hull structure and keel

To enjoy your yacht, Royal Huisman can monitor all systems in real-time, offers dedicated technical engineers to assist remotely. Moreover, the yard documents the parts to deliver new parts fast. Maintenance can be pre-planned at fixed costs.
