Taboo of the Seas // Maiora 30 // Fossati Design

The 30m motor yacht TABOO OF THE SEAS is a Maiora 30 WalkAround and was built in 2019. Exterior design and naval architecture were done by the yard. Italian design studio Fossati Design Bureau created the interior style.

The vessel has two Caterpillar C32 Acert (1925 HP each) to reach a maximum speed of 23 knots.

The WalkAround concept means that it is possible to reach the foredeck from the sundeck/flybridge. The helm station is in the center with are ways on both sides. Additionally, there is also an “easy access” solution for wheelchair users to get on board and reaching the salon and the owner’s cabin.

The interior design by Umberto Fossati is very bright. The generous window surface on the main deck ensures a lot of natural light inside and great views over the sea respectively by while at anchor. Furthermore, the owner’s suite is also on the main deck in the forward part of the yacht. It features an ensuite bathroom with a double sink and a vanity that also serves as a desk.

Another (full-beam) owners’ cabin is on the lower deck, also with double sink bathroom and walk-in garderobe. There are also two guest cabins — one double bed and one twin-bed cabin with the opinion to slide the beds into a double bed.

The tender garage stores a 4.20m tender.
