Revolution is an explorer yacht for an owner who is also an experienced captain and enjoys to sail the yacht by himself and is based on the Flow concept. The yacht hosts seven cabins for guests and six cabins for the crew.
The yacht will be powered by a diesel-electric propulsion with two 360-degree rudder pods by Veth that will have a maximum power of 550 kW each. The pods aren’t existing but Veth will develop the system especially for this project that it meets the requirements by the engineers.
The forward located tender storage will host an 8-meter limo tender and a RIB.
Revolution will be built under the Large Yacht Code (LY3) regulation for commercial vessels. During a charter trip, she can carry up to 12 guests and 12 crew members. On private journeys, up 16 guests can enjoy the yacht and 14 crew members care for guests and yacht.
Marnix J. Hoekstra, Director of Vripack says:
“When you walk through the interior everything is where you expect it to be, yet she has an unconventional layout. Her smooth interior layout is balanced with a masculine layering exterior design. When you take a piece of paper in your hand, fold and cut it and place pieces on top of each other you get the effect we created. The visual disconnection between the various surfaces reveals a continuous champagne golden-lit infinite line making Revolution stand out from the crowd also at night time when you sail up with the limo from a romantic dinner on shore.”
About the interior décor, I can’t reveal anything other than that she is as much the yacht of the sportive adventurous owner as well as his lovely wife and playful kids. They came to us for a globetrotter which can safely handle the Seven Seas and provides the comfort of a family home and got nothing less.”
Furthermore, Marnix Hoekstra comments:
“With Revolution, we created a yacht that stops you from turning the page. She features the most sought-after form which follows function, embraces our holistic philosophy which leads to a masculine exterior and smooth interior with cutting-edge naval architecture. Our creative signature to finely balance apparent contradictions like raw and smooth is really translated well by the team in this yacht”.

Profile & Layouts
Update: 24th of April 2017: It begins - Vripack announced the keel laying.
Jongert had a bi-colored model of REVOLUTION at the boot Düsseldorf 2018 to show two different color schemes. I think the dark version looks great but could be very warm if the yacht is in the Med or the Caribbean.
SHARING IS CARING - THANK YOU!
