Project POLLUX aka YN 19255 is a new unit of Heesen's 55m-series, scheduled for launch in autumn 2020.

Bannenberg & Rowell designed the interior with a spacious 82 sqm master suite on the main deck. There are currently no renderings available but the yard describes the design as follow:
“The neutral design philosophy is carried out with a soft palette of layered taupes, browns and creams.”

Furthermore:

A blend of natural, noble tones and a tailored spatial arrangement lends the environment gravitas and wide appeal. Smoked Oak chevron parquet flooring, white Thassos, grey Saint Laurent and ivory Travertine marble throughout are paired with bronze accents, fine workmanship and furnishings.”

A VIP suite will be placed on the bridge deck while two double and two twin guest cabins are on the lower deck. The sun deck offers 100 sqm with a sunbathing area, bar, and al-fresco dining.

POLLUX features the Fast Displacement Hull Form (FDHF) and meets TIER III regulations with two MTU 8V 4000 M63. With M/Y VIDA, the 55m steel class is a tested platform with a maximum speed of 15.5 knots and a cruising speed of 13 knots with a range of 4,500 nautical miles.
