The 75.75-meter, four-level Feadship ONE boasts various sophisticated design and arrangement options to enhance its attractiveness and practicality, whether for personal enjoyment or as a charter boat.
Studio De Voogt crafted the elegantly straightforward outer shapes, perfectly balancing amenity and coziness. The interior decor is the creation of Paris-based Gilles & Boissier, celebrated for its contributions to the Baccarat Hotel in New York City.
The assignment involved creating a design that was both masculine and timeless, sophisticated. The main features consisted of straight lines and strong shapes paired with delicate, slightly textured finishes that reflected light and added to the yacht’s visual appeal. As usual, Studio de Voogt worked closely with the engineers to ensure all components functioned properly.
For instance, the studio highlights the rounded corner of the shield at the front of the ship, slowly becoming less steep as it extends backward. This rounded corner is also seen at the front of the broad windows on the main deck and across the white-coated superstructure.
Situated on the main deck, this opulent private suite features a spacious full-beam VIP cabin with a secluded lounge and a built-in balcony perfect for relaxation during the journey – a cozy haven amidst the journey. This grand suite is designed to comfortably double as a secondary main suite when the ship is chartered.
The suite above the master cabin boasts a private terrace with a large Jacuzzi and a flexible lounge area. The elevated foredeck can be transformed into a temporary helipad, and the garage below is spacious enough to accommodate a 9.50-meter limousine, a crew tender, and an assortment of water play items.
The main deck also features a sizable pool in the aft area and a hot tub on the sundeck in the aft. The bridge deck offers a gym facing the sea, with wrap-around windows and sliding glass doors on three sides, providing a unique experience.
Diagonal teak decking is a novel feature of Feadship’s design, adding an element of visual appeal. Unlike the trend of having a terraced main deck aft, the design of the transom is more classic, featuring elegant, sweeping staircases on both sides that lead to a vast swimming platform, including a swim stair. The transom doors can be folded inwards, allowing access to the beach club, which is bathed in sunlight thanks to the pool’s glass bottom.
Offering flexible lodging for twelve visitors in a spacious main suite, a premium suite, and four double rooms on the lower level, as well as a crew of eighteen, ONE is equipped with twin MTU main engines and standard propellers capable of reaching speeds exceeding 15 knots and covering a distance of 5,000 nautical miles at a speed of 12 knots.
