Maxi Dolphin from Italy built the cruiser/racer NOMAD IV in 2013.
NOMAD IV is a fast and comfortable cruising yacht with a carbon fiber hull – a specialty of the shipyard Maxi Dolphin — the lightweight construction results in a weight of just 52 tons. The design comes from the French design studio Finot-Conq together with the in-house design team of Maxi Dolphin.
Maxi Dolphin fitted NOMAD IV with a lifting keel to reduce the draft from 5.90 m to 3.50 m with a ballast of 15 tons. Here are also racing genes: the boat carries a water ballast of 9 tons. She has a large cockpit to work on regattas, double steering wheels, and a spacious deck.
At the aft deck is the tender garage for a 3.50m carbon fiber tender, two paddleboards, three kayaks, wakeboard, waterski, and snorkeling equipment. The transom serves as a bathing platform.
Inside of NOMAD IV is a very minimalistic and clean interior with a large living area. The deckhouse with dining area and saloon have a 360° panoramic view. The space for guests and owner is at the bow. The crew, including galley, is at the aft. High-tech characteristics of the FC 100 include interior details such as carbon fiber shower seats and the owner’s bathtub.
Twelve guests in total can sleep on board and offers one master cabin, two double bed guest cabins, one twin bed cabin, one cabin with four beds (one double and two twin beds). All cabins have ensuite bathrooms.
The yacht is currently for sale with a price of 8,000,000 EUR (registered in Malta) and also for charter at a rate of 59,000 EUR per Week in the summer (Med) and 54,000 EUR per Week in the winter season (Caribbean). Prices without VAT.
