JOY is a 23m flybridge motor yacht, ordered by an experienced owner at the Van der Valk shipyard in the Netherlands.
JOY is the tenth unit of the 23m flybridge motor yacht series. The full-aluminum yacht comes with an unagitated and timeless exterior design. Moreover, a semi-displacement hull with a maximum speed of 24 knots, powered by triple Volvo Penta IPS 800 with a power of 600 hp each.
Although the yacht will not join the charter market, JOY has a RINA certification to meet high standards of safety with the latest navigation technology. The yard installed a gyro stabilizer that works underway but also at anchor.
Interior design by Guido de Groot
Guido de Groot used a lot of Pennsylvania Walnut and Zebrano wood for JOY‘s interior. The full-beam master suite has been placed amidships in the lower deck. The VIP cabin is in the bow. There is also one double guest cabin and one single bed cabin. The crew area has also full-beam size.
