Italian yacht builder Canados announced that they will launch the Canados 808 in July 2017.
Canados 808 Maximus is a 24m luxurious motor yacht with the DNA of a 30m yacht designed by Marco Casali – Too Design. The designer had also an eye on maximum privacy for the crew, the guests and the owners. She will be powered by two MAN V12 engines with 1,900 hp to power her up to a top speed between 25 and 30 knots. The shipyard uses Kevlar/Aramat to reduce the top weight for more stability.
The yacht offers a 3.40-meter tender garage to store a RIB or PWC. Another tender with a size up to 4-meters can be stored on the swim platform that is also a lift with a capacity of 800 kg.
The foredeck has a lounge and sunbathing area for more privacy in marinas when the yacht is moored with the stern.
The model is available in a four or five cabin version. One of the general arrangements has two owner suites. One on the main deck, the other one on the lower deck with two twin guest cabins.
The other layout has a VIP suite on the lower deck with two guest cabins. The five-cabin version retains the master suite on the main deck and on the lower deck four guest cabins.
The current yacht that is under construction will be delivered in the two-owner version.
Designer Marco Casali comments:
“As we call it internally, the Canados 808 project was created to merge the famous Canados heritage with new solutions seeking for more volumes and better use of space.
Our main target was to create a very special space for the owner’s suite, fully independent from guest-quarters and on a higher level than the typical lower deck level. In order to achieve this result, we had to stagger the main deck floor into three slightly different levels which also resulted in a large roof area fully equipped with a sofa and a sun pad.
The main profile characteristic consists in the floor to ceiling curved side windows where the connection between exterior and interior from the sides is studied to literally disappear.
The same path was followed for the aft deck and saloon layout that are joined by a circular veranda space that connects the two spaces and allow to turn them into a unique space (when open) or interfacing the dining area with one or the other space.
The central transom stairs allow for a wider gangway, shaping a unique aft design with a deep platform and two side sofas in the beach area. Overall, I am extremely happy with the result of the overall design that was guided by strict guidelines from Canados. The shipyard remains extremely focused on retaining ease of usage, safety and practicality as main guidelines while still expressing the heritage of the brand.”
The flybridge has a dining area for up to eight persons and a round table lounge area with another sunbathing area.
The salon invites with a bright interior design and big windows for a great view over the sea. At the aft area is the dining room with 180-degree glass panels.
SHARING IS CARING - THANK YOU!
