BEYOND is a 60m explorer yacht concept that features an observatory alongside an ice class and helicopter deck by the Dutch studio Diana Yacht Design.
The yacht was designed for a visionary client who wants to see the world. Equipped with ice class one, helicopter landing pad and last but not least an observatory with telescope. The yacht has an operating range of 4.500 nautical miles at her cruising speed of 12 knots while her top speed is 15 knots, powered by two Caterpillar C32 engines.
Young Designer of the Year finalist Casper Marelis explains:
“I wanted to create an explorer yacht which really has the rugged look associated with this type of vessel. The grey border interrupts the green hull which makes the bow look even more impressive while ensuring the overall side view does not look too massive”.
The owners’ suite has a 180-degree view and a private jacuzzi. Moreover, the owner has a private lounge aft made of glass. BEYOND welcomes 14 guests in four double cabins and two twin cabins. A crew of 17 can be onboard, the captain has an extra cabin next to the wheelhouse.
