BANDIDA - a 44m full-displacement yacht concept

BANDIDA was developed by Franco Gianni of SFG Yacht Design (known for dynamic center console boats) and yacht designer/naval architect Josh Rodriguez. They designed the yacht from their view as experienced boaters. Franco Gianni also has the view from a superyacht captain.

In my opinion, this is one of the most exciting and progressive yacht designs in 2018. In addition to the eye-catching sporty design, the yacht benefits from the engineering of a proven full-displacement hull and bribes with an operation range of 5,000 nautical miles and a displacement of just 470 tonnes. BANDIDA has a maximum speed of 18 knots and a cruising speed of 16 knots, powered by two Caterpillar diesel engines of the C32 Acert-series.

Exterior Spaces

The forward area has a flush deck with a sunbathing area and a lounge area with a table. Further sunbeds, seatings and a pool (an artwork made of glass) are on the sundeck. The forward area of the sundeck features hidden gadgets like cooling boxes and lift tables. Alfresco dining for up to 12 guests is in the cockpit.

Interior

BANDIDA welcomes up to 12 guests in five cabins to sleep on board and space for a crew of eight people. The design duo describes the layout as follows:

The interior layout of the boat is unique and non-traditional just as she is on the outside.
