Holterman, a renowned semi-custom yacht builder from the Netherlands, has provided an enticing preview of its latest creation: the X-95, designed by the studio Bernd Weel Design.
The X-95 is part of the Xtreme collection of yachts, which originated with the design of the 33-meter X-105 Lady Fleur, a multi-award-winning vessel that debuted in 2022. Following several years of refinement, the Xtreme collection has expanded to feature the X-54, X-65, and X-78 Sport and Fly models. The newest addition to this collection, the X-95, is the perfect transition between the semi-custom yachts under 24 meters and the elegance and power of the Class-built X-105.
The core principle of the X-95 is to craft the most superior yacht possible at 30 meters. This has led to a masterpiece of design, style, functionality, and aesthetics. It features an all-aluminum structure and expected speeds of 22 to 24 knots, along with a unique design element that allows the X-95 to accommodate one of the largest tenders in its category.
“We’ve been working together for many years, from when we started the Xtreme line with the X-105,” says designer Bernd Weel, founder of the Bernd Weel Design studio. “As a designer, I am always dreaming of the perfect yacht, and so is Holterman.” There was an obvious gap in the line-up at around 29 metres (95 feet), between the X-105 and the X-78 models, and it was here that the idea for the X-95 emerged.
“We thought it would be nice, instead of having a client come to us, if we developed it together,” Weel continues, “applying all our experience of developing the Xtreme series, adding in all the client feedback that I and especially Holterman has gathered over the years – because the shipyard always tries to listen to clients and yacht owners to see what they are seeking – and capitalising on the yard’s 60 years of boatbuilding prowess to create something really cool, the perfect 95-footer.”
Additional amenities will encompass a lavish and spacious suite for the owner at the front of the main deck, extending to a secluded private terrace at the front of the ship. There will also be a raised cockpit design that can be reached through steps from the main saloon, designed to provide exceptional roominess. This is because a full-beam saloon will feature large glass panels on each side. Additionally, there will be a large sundeck that can be customized to meet various needs, including adding a spa pool. Accommodation for guests will be located on the lower deck, featuring four large, private cabins.
SHARING IS CARING - THANK YOU!
