Gian Marco Campanino, yacht designer comments:

“We created something unique, especially conceived for the Asian market. Sometimes we forget that the mentality and the kind of use of the yachts in those areas is totally different from what we have in mind. If we go our way we make something wrong, so we have to go their way and give them what they want; if you mix this with Italian flair and finish, when you obtain what we did with the EVO 115”.

Giuseppe Taranto, CEO of The Italian Sea Group adds:

“This is a further achievement and a significant step forward for our Group.”.

Nono Yacht Admiral

ADMIRAL Yachts launched the Impero 37 (m) christened NONO.

NONO belongs to the Impero Series by Admiral and features an exterior design by Luca Dini and interior design by the in-house design office Admiral ‘Centro Stile’. The full-aluminum semi-displacement yacht has a raised pilothouse and was constructed in full-aluminum. The yacht reaches a top speed of 20 knots.

NONO has an elegant metallic light-bronze hull and a pearl-white superstructure with mat black areas in correspondence of the main deck windows and hardtop details.

The all yacht features large glass surfaces which deliver a lot of light to the interiors, making the guests feeling like in a modern villa.
This feature also helps with the overall design of the yacht, which seems lighter too, not to say that the interior volumes feel bigger than on other yachts of the same size. This is particularly emphasized in the aft area of the main salon, as this is an all glass area, only interrupted by little pieces of structures, as the engine room machinery, which is usually placed within this area, has been moved a bit forward.

The main deck features huge and comfortable spaces with substantial headroom, especially in the main salon area, while the full headroom opening sliding doors on both sides further contribute to the open space feeling of the deck. Within the main salon also the dining area finds place.

A little bit forward there is the separate pantry for crew, which is connected to the side deck through a watertight door; the pantry gives access to the wheelhouse and to the galley area, which is directly connected with the crew quarter, placed on the lower deck and including two double crew cabins and a captain’s cabin, all with ensuite bathroom. The crew area also includes a crew mess and a separate laundry.

Forward on the main deck is all about the master cabin, taking the full beam of the yacht and featuring large side windows which give natural light to the whole environment.
The suite includes a large ensuite bathroom located aft, which is directly connected with two walking wardrobes, his and hers.

On the lower deck, four large guest cabins find a place, two of which are VIP’s and may be considered almost as a second and third owner’s cabin, due to the use of the yacht, which is going to be private only and used by the whole family of the Owner. Each cabin features its own bathroom and all the hull ports are opening.

Going back to the main deck aft cockpit of NONO, the guests are surrounded by large spaces, all dedicated to relaxing, sunbathing and ‘al fresco’ dinners; this area also gives access to the aft beach club, where the transom door opens up, creating a big aft terrace. This area also includes a bar corner, a day head, and a steam bath.

Crew and guests of NONO can easily access to the garage, which features a side opening door and has been designed for hosting tenders up to 5m, operated by a travel lift crane. The garage also gives the most comfortable access to the engine room, which also includes an engine control room and which can be also accessed from the main deck.

Forward on the main deck, placed on the port side, a structural staircase, hidden in the superstructure, bring the guests up on the sundeck; this is actually a huge terrace overlooking the sea, split into two different levels. The one forward is dedicated to dining and it’s also provided with a bar corner, lounge area and remote steering wheel position, while aft a big hot tube for up to 8 people is placed, taking a substantial part of the area. At the very forward aft end of the deck, it’s also possible to store a smaller tender, together with a jet ski, while at the forward end a wide companionway brings you down to the wheelhouse.

A further external space has been nicely obtained at the very forward end of the hull, lowering the technical anchor area which is hidden by two opening ports that deliver a clean and flushed bow area. This area is further enriched by a sitting area and an up & down coffee table. This area is very easily accessible through the main deck side passages, as those take to two staircases which bring you over the master suite and then again down to the bow. Over the master suite, just in front of the wheelhouse, a large sunbathing area is also provided.

The project is not another design exercise as the Admiral X-Force 145 has been developed on the same naval platform of “M/N Messina”, the last commercial diesel-electric vessel delivered by the Group in 2013 and currently part of the Italian Railways fleet, on a non-stop service activity among the Sicily Channel.

The production site, located in Marina di Carrara (Tuscany, Italy), spread over an area of 100,000 sqm and a 200-meter dry dock where this new model may be built. With her design and general arrangement plan, the Admiral X Force 145 truly is one of the most impressive and outstanding yachts of her size, offering a new perspective on the mega yacht world. It confirms the placement of The Italian Sea Group at the top of European shipbuilding in terms of know-how, history, production capacity, facility and technical experience.
