Here comes Project REDWOOD - a 139m design by Nuvolari Lenard (exterior and interior design) currently under construction at Lürssen
Project REDWOOD will feature two helicopter operating areas for fast arrivals and departures of the guests. Furthermore, large capabilities for tenders and toys up to 15m. Additionally, a large swimming pool, a sports area and diving center on the lower deck.
The yacht will be built with a steel hull and an aluminum superstructure and will meet the requirements of the Passenger Yacht Code (PYC) to carry passengers from 13 to 36 persons.
Delivery is scheduled for 2019 with an efficient propulsion for independent long-range global exploration.
Because owner allows releasing some information before launch (untypically for Lürssen yacht owners) and according to the PYC, I guess there are plans to run her as a charter yacht.
