KORONI // Aristotelis Betsis

Not the first time that yacht designer Aristotelis Betsis was successful at the Young Designer of the Year awards. In 2018, he was a finalist with project LAMINAR.

The 87m KORONI features elegant yet sporty lines. Alongside the garage for a rescue tender, the forward area features an exterior pool with sunbeds. An indoor pool and Jacuzzi are just behind the external pool in the spa and gym room on the lower deck. The main tender garage between the beach club and engine room has enough space to carry two big tenders (10m and 7.5m), two submarines, four jet skis, and some more toys.

KORONI‘s owner’s area is on the bridge deck aft and includes the owner’s office, walk-in closet, and a big bedroom with a private terrace that features a Jacuzzi, sunbathing and shaded lounge areas.

Two VIP suites and four guest cabins are on the main deck forward. The rear area has a formal dining table for up to twelve persons, the main salon with two areas, and L-shaped sofas. Furthermore, a round bar/al-fresco dining and a piano hall. A cinema is on the lower deck.

Alongside the large spa and gym area on the upper deck, there is also a gaming/meeting room with and secret office—additionally, an observation salon with wine cellar, exterior dining, and bars.

Aristotelis Betsis describes the interior style as follows:

“Golden Portoro and Arabescato di Carrara are the two main marbles used throughout the social areas, together with satin walnut, autumn and dark cherry woods and fine light ecru color carpet. The ceiling is finished with shiny lacquered ecru paint, creating an astonishing crystal effect.”
