BAZ Yacht Design created the 50m award-winning motor yacht KAI with smart hybrid propulsion.
The initial concept was to create a sustainable luxury yacht capable of docking at various marinas and ports without limitations on size. Ensuring the owner’s privacy was also a priority, which led to the design of a fully enclosed deck that prevented any access by the crew during docking maneuvers. Another innovative idea was transporting the tender on the yacht’s deck for extended voyages rather than dragging them through the water. Consequently, we opted for a three-deck design featuring a retractable aft deck that could lift and transport the tender.
The yacht has a private office lounge, an open-air cinema, a sundeck, and a golf practice area, wholly separated from the crew and other guests by a fully enclosed owner deck.
The aft deck can transform into a marine paradise beach club with a 4.8×2.4m seawater pool, offering comfort and relaxation.
A lounge with an underwater observatory and a massage room is designed for peaceful moments.
The descending deck can accommodate a 13m tender for extended journeys.
The focus is on environmental friendliness, with electric engines ensuring a quiet, emission-free cruising experience.
With the advanced engine system, the yacht offers various navigation modes, including:

Crossover Mode: Achieve economical operation, extended range, and low vibrations.
