Young yacht designer Sebastiano Canto created the stylish and futuristic 51m project IMERA.

When a global lockdown has positive impacts, then is it creations like this. Yacht designer Sebastiano Canto penned project IMERA – a very futuristic yacht design with flowing lines and a lot of outdoor space.

The large open aft deck welcomes two tenders with a length of up to 8.70 meters. Two cranes are integrated into the hull to move the boats into the water. When the tenders are out, the area has a free space of 140 square meters for the guests.

The interior of IMERA accommodates ten guests and a crew of eight people plus the captain. The guest and crew area is on the lower deck, while the full-beam owner’s suite is on the main deck forward and features a private fold-out balcony and an office.

The stern area has a pool and a fixed bathing platform with an Opacmare Transformer – a multifunctional platform to bring some flexibility. Furthermore, under the sunbathing platform is a sauna, hammam, gym, wet bar, and further storage for water toys.

The diesel-electric propulsion contains one fixed pod drive and two 360 degree rotatable pods to improve the maneuverability. Each pod drive has a power of 500 kW. They are powered by three ABB AMG 355 generators.
