Not from this world: The very strange project FATA MORGANA by George Lucian

FATA MORGANA is an ice-classed explorer yacht to explore the northern area including the Northwest passage with low emissions to be environmentally friendly as possible. A kite sail on the bow supports the propulsion system to reduce the power of the engines and allows a range of 7,000 nautical miles. Furthermore, the yacht would be equipped with systems to monitor the ocean’s data and send them to research institutes.

Speaking of design, designer and artist George Lucian wants the design as part of the environment – something that appears as an island in the arctic ocean.

Inside FATA MORGANA

The blue-colored area in the renderings is made of extensive use of glass to enjoy best views from the main salon and the VIP suites to the sky and the environment around. Furthermore, guests can enjoy an outdoor swimming pool or the observatory/telescope on the top of the yacht. The accommodation is for twelve guests and a crew of 18 people. The aft deck area has a helicopter landing pad.
