The DutchCraft 56 is an open yacht with flybridge.
DutchCraft is a sister company of the well-known boat builder Zeelander Yachts. Although it is an open yacht concept, the lower deck has accommodation for up to eight people with full-beam owners suite with ensuite bathrooms. According to DutchCraft, the 17m yacht offers seatings for 36 guests in total (44 people in the cabin version).
The yacht is available with Volvo Penta IPS 600/950 and Doen Jet propulsion with John Deere engine. Depending on engine configuration, the top speed of the boat is up to 40 knots.
The design and engineering have been made in-house at DutchCraft while the naval architecture comes from Mulder Design.

How the yard sees possible applications
The boat offers a large aft deck (for its size) to be a platform for divers or to carry toys like jet skis or a two-passenger submersible. Furthermore, it could be a fast limousine boat for rentals to explore the coast or rivers around.

The Idea of the DutchCraft 56
The DutchCraft 56 was an idea by Sietse Koopmans during a world cruise on his 37m explorer yacht ZEEPAARD (ex Axantha I – built by JFA Yachts).
“During my travels I wondered, I spend money on my yacht; what do I want in return?” commented Koopmans, who comes from a long family line of inland shipping business owners. “I want to be able to invite all my friends, take them onboard to explore the world, have maximum recreational value and spend a minimal amount on maintenance. This becomes a pain in the neck after a while. Therefore, I was inspired to create the DutchCraft 56, the ultimate all-purpose yacht. One with which you can fish, dive, party, relax, explore and store an incredible amount toys. We purposefully tried to keep the design minimal and simplistic. The boat is hassle free and has low running cost. It’s the perfect vessel to facilitate all your pleasures. It is also available in a commercial version with Doen jets and 30,000-hour John Deere engines for all-day commuting or charter.”
