AXIS is a 55m Yacht Support Vessel by Damen
The yacht support vessel AXIS was launched as Fast and Furious in 2016. The vessel offers a touch-and-go helipad with a payload of 3,700 kg. The deck crane has a capacity of 12 tons to store heavy tenders and toys on the 225 square meter deck.
AXIS speeds up to 22 knots but offers also a generous operating range of 5,000 nautical miles for adventures around the world.
The ship can be chartered in the Bahamas and is equipped with an ICON aircraft, a Triton submarine and a lot of tenders and toys. DAMEN is co-exhibiting the floating toy box during the Fort Lauderdale Boat Show.
Alongside this vessel, the owner’s fleet contains a 50-meter Westport motor yacht and a 16-meter Viking. He comments:
“The oceans, the islands have a lot more to offer than just chartering a white boat. What we’re talking about is a complete experience, whether it’s diving, submarining, fishing, sightseeing and all the toys with jet skis and sailboats.”.
