JAGARE was built in 1981 at Abeking & Rasmussen is now back for service works at the shipyard in Lemwerder.

The yacht showcases remarkable engineering and craftsmanship, measuring 36.5 meters in length, 8.08 meters in beam, 3.51 meters in draft, and carrying a gross tonnage of 221 GT. The yacht’s sophisticated interior, designed by the acclaimed designer Peter Sijm, can host up to nine guests in lavish cabins, with six crew members, including the captain, enjoying their comfortable living spaces. With an aluminum hull and superstructure, the yacht is built to be both strong and lightweight. Her fuel tank holds 26,117 liters for extended journeys with a cruising speed of 12 knots under the engine.

The sailing yacht “Jagare” has remained in the same family for 43 years and has completed eight circumnavigations, including recent trips to the Arctic and Antarctic. This achievement is a testament to the exceptional craftsmanship and quality of the shipyard. Initially bought by the father of the present owner, the yacht was handed down to his eldest daughter, highlighting the deep connection between the family and the ship. The present owner fondly remembers accompanying her father to the shipyard in Lemwerder at the age of 12 to see the “Jagare” being built. Now, 43 years later, the yacht is returning to its birthplace after a season of sailing in Northern Europe.
