Nedship Group (known for zero-emission solar-powered catamarans) and Swedish yacht designer Dennis Ingemansson present a 65m green explorer.

The explorer uses a mix of energy sources to reduce the carbon footprint. There is a skysail to reduce the energy of the engines/generators and 150 sqm of solar panels on the roof. Furthermore, 60 sqm more can be added on the helicopter platform. There can be wind turbines added.

The steel-hulled vessel will be built to ice classification 1A to explore many remote areas. Furthermore, the yacht features safe spaces for tenders, toys and submarines, a diving center with decompression center and an onboard recycling center.
