Hot Lab developed the X98 RPH (Raised Pilot House) for Extra Yachts.

The X98 RPH concept model serves as the originator of this new design philosophy, which, despite its apparent differences from previous models, closely adheres to their approach while aiming for a more contemporary style.

The standout feature of this model is its two-and-a-half deck layout, although the volumes of the latter are cleverly disguised by the exterior lines, creating the illusion of a classic two-deck boat with a flybridge. This ingenious design solution allows Hot Lab to create an elegant and sleek-looking vessel that offers spacious indoor and outdoor living areas that would be unattainable on a traditional two-deck model.

In addition to the salon, which is seamlessly integrated with the aft cockpit, the main deck features a large owner cabin in the forward section, a galley, and a dayhead. The lower deck includes four double cabins, each with a private bathroom. The helm station is on the mezzanine level, providing access to the splendid sun deck.

With over 140 square meters of indoor guest areas and over 100 square meters of outdoor spaces, the X98 RPH is incredibly versatile, compact, and gracefully curved.

The interior style is characterized by clean lines, soft geometric shapes, and natural materials such as unstained oak and stone, creating a clutter-free and visually appealing atmosphere.

The crew of four is accommodated in two cabins, each with a private bathroom.

The engine room houses three IPS 1350 Volvo Penta engines, each with a power output of 1000 horsepower, enabling a maximum design speed of 28 knots. The cruising speed is set at 22 knots; at 12 knots, the range extends to 1500 nautical miles.
