Last year ISA Yachts presented the YARA 44, now comes her bigger sister: YARA 48.

Dutch design studio Omega Architects is responsible for the exterior design and the interior layout. The naval architecture was done by Van Oossanen. ISA Yachts wanted a fast yacht for modern yacht lifestyle with efficiency and a transatlantic range. Omega delivered! This concept has options for different engines with a top speed between 24 and 30 knots. Also, a range of 4,200 nautical miles at 12 knots is possible. Another goal was to have 50 % more usable space aboard.

Like many state-of-the-art yacht concepts also the YARA 48 is equipped with high glass sliding doors to make the main saloon a part of the world outside.

The YARA 48 is equipped with two jacuzzis. One is located on the main deck the other one is traditionally on the sun deck. There is also a bar, a dining table for up to 10 persons, sunbathing area and a lounge area forward to enjoy a 360° view over the see.

The owner’s suite with his and hers bathroom is on the main deck and features big windows for a great view over the sea. A 6m tender and a jet ski are stored on the foredeck

The Ancona-based shipyard ISA Yachts presents the ROUTE 66 currently under construction and scheduled for delivery in spring 2017.

The project name ROUTE 66 is based on the famous highway route in the United States which was a 4.000 KM street from Chicago (Illinois) to Santa Monica (California).  The name embodied freedom, which is also the concept of this motor yacht concept without compromising the space and comfort that the owner would expect from a steel and aluminum displacement yacht. The overall beauty of yachts over the years has been lost to interior space, on the contrary ROUTE 66’s offers space for owners who love the sea and like to be outside.

ROUTE 66 is a motor yacht with lots of space in relation to the total volume and her lines are sleek and graceful. The design does not achieve extra deck space by stacking the decks, there is not the piled-up effect – one layer after the other, the philosophy of the whole concept is to guarantee the owners space and comfort they would expect.

 

Developed from the 65m Granturismo platform, this full displacement yacht is a 4-decks vessel with an aluminum superstructure and steel hull which architectural structure is based on a strong contrast between the harmonious and curvaceous lines of the decks and the rigorous and diamond-like geometry of the transom and of the sundeck. The hull shape and bow are optimized for both efficiency and comfort. Her 11-meter beam confers ROUTE 66 a sleek and elegant line.

The interior layout emphasizes the osmosis between indoor and outdoor areas.
The main deck saloon presents the idea of a lounge which opens to the cockpit with a unique perception of spaces. The dining room, situated forward of the salon, totally enjoys the light coming from the full height side bulkhead windows. The enormous beach area can be easily shaped as a real sensorial SPA, as the layout easily allows a sauna, an emotional shower, and hammam.

The interior layout is completed by the 5 guest cabins plus the master suite so that ROUTE 66 can accommodate 12 guests.
Forward the flush deck can easily enclose an helipad. Mooring area and tender garage for 8m-rescue tender and jet skies are underneath this area. The main tender garage is located starboard on the lower deck opposite to the gym.

Powered by 2 CAT engines, this 66M designed by Andrea Vallicelli, can reach 18 knots max and cruises at 16 knots. Thanks to a spectacular stern and an aggressive plum bow, this outstanding 66 meters is destined to become an icon yacht in its segment.

The naval architecture is developed in-house by ISA Yachts Technical Department.

Concept: Yara 44 by ISA Yachts

The Yara 44 (m) is a motor yacht creation by Italian yard ISA Yachts and Dutch studios Omega Architects and Van Oossanen

The brief said to design a fast yacht with modern lines and interior features to bring outside inside. Omega Architects approach every new project studying the heritage of the shipyards and trying to understand the brand, with the aim to maintain the established tradition and at the same time propose new features.

For this project, Omega Architects try to create new elements of exterior design, at the same time maintaining a gentle looking and some of the soft lines in particular, for which ISA Yachts is well known. The result is a sturdy, though elegant yacht design.

The design concept

A revolutionary challenge came out during the very first meeting: Development of 2 projects, the Yara 44 and the Yara 48, with the same platform. Omega and Van Oossanen Naval Architects managed to “divide” the profile of the 44m, respecting construction bonds, and stretch it until 48m. Superstructure’s lines have been adapted to follow the new shape, and then back and forward again. This link between the 2 projects allows a possible client to choose the length in a second moment, creating an advantage for marketing. Moreover, the 44m could be marketed at a competitive price, not losing the quality on which ISA Yachts puts the emphasis, as a result of the recently rationalized production. The 48m will be based on exactly the same hull lines as the 44m, just with rearranged shallow propeller tunnels.

Design-wise, the 44m design is slightly aft leaning, the 48m design is slightly forward leaning, with the result that the “small“ one acts as the naughty one, while the 48m is the big sturdy sister. Another fixed point, that was clear from the draw of the first line, was the relationship with the sea. These 2 yachts have low bulwarks, 2/3 of the windows are full height, creating versatility in relaxation, openness and panorama views from all over the boats.

Lower Deck

The crew is placed forward with dedicated galley and dining table. To be noted: This crew compartment is larger compared to most other yachts of these sizes since both yachts comply with MCA regulations. Regarding the guest area, 2 twins and 2 VIPs cabins are served by a central round stair. On aft, beach club houses a sauna, toilet and a service counter, a concept derived from the Russian traditional “banya”, which consists of 3 rooms; quite similar, in the 44m we have a sauna or steam room, a bathroom and an area to rest and relax with a counter cabinet for drinks. In the 48m, we also have a bar.

Middle Deck

The owner has here a full beam private suite with double bathrooms. The windows are full height to create a spacious and light full cabin. Amidships, the crew has a separated traffic route that allows them to reach galley and WD with dedicated stairs.

The dining area has also full height windows that give a see-through experience: that was achieved lowering the exterior bulwarks. Dining area and the gigantic lounge area on aft are divided by glass doors. This huge exterior space was thought as a whole: we have continuity in ceiling and teak planking. In spite of this, half of the area can be closed with glass sliding doors. And, when the room is closed, air-conditioning is guaranteed, like a big bay window. The lounge area ends with a Jacuzzi placed aft, almost flush with deck to respect the panorama view from inside. The Jacuzzi is a point around which it develops an entire seating arrangement, meant to be a party or relaxed meeting. The water curtains falling from the overhang to the Jacuzzi is an additional feature to this area.

Foredeck

Mainly a crew area, with a 6m tender, MOB and jet ski served by a crane. Particular attention was given to visibility on wheelhouse: the division of glass panels and their angle are studied to help the captain during sailing. Captain has his cabin behind the wheelhouse, close to pantry and crew’s stair.

The wheelhouse deck has on aft a cozy sky lounge with bar. The area is connected through glass sliding doors to an external dining table and lounge.

Sundeck

Is thought of giving a panorama view: Legs of the mast are placed on deck to keep the deck as free as possible. To avoid railings, a glass bulwark protects the area. We have 2 different proposed layouts for the 44m and the 48m: On the 48m, in between the mast’s legs, we have a Jacuzzi with sunbeds.

The traditional layout of the Yara 44 follows 10 person dining table on SB, a counter bar on PS. The forward area is dedicated to seats. On the 44m, a bar with a pop-up TV is integrated into between mast’s legs. On forward we have a spacious lounge area, while the sunbathing part is reserved on aft. This creates a sort of “bar sport” atmosphere where guests can gather for watching a movie or a match, still being outside but in a privacy-guaranteed area.

FOREVER ONE by ISA Yachts

ISA Yachts delivered 54m "Forever One"

ISA Yachts delivered the 54m Forever One with an eye-catching reverse bow.

The 54-metre motor yacht was designed by Horacio Bozzo with a striking reverse bow which increases hydrodynamic efficiency. The currently not pictured interior comes from Studio Massari. The naval architecture was done by Axis Group Yacht Design.

ISA Yachts built Forever One with a steel hull and aluminum superstructure. She is powered by two Caterpillar engines which give her a top speed of 16.5 knots with trans-pacific range.

The layout is quite unconventional and the challenge was to fit several features that make her unique: The Owner’s deck is one of the peculiarities of such vessel with a private balcony – accessible from their stateroom – and a large aft deck terrace. Foldable bulwarks on the main deck grant a spectacular view of the exterior. Noteworthy is the glass elevator that connects all decks, from the lower deck to the flybridge. She has a spectacular dining/relaxing salon located forward on the main deck where usually are located the Owner’s stateroom. A spacious beach club with large foldable stern and side platforms ideal for water toys and tenders docking give also facilitated access to the water by automatic and gentle-angled submerged stairs. The main garage is located forward on the main deck and will carry a 9m tender and a 5,5m crew tender.

ISA 66M GRANTURISMO OKTO

ISA Yachts delivered 66m Grantursimo OKTO

ISA Yachts announced the delivery of the 66m Granturismo now christened OKTO.

OKTO has a black metallic steel hull and silver metallic aluminum superstructure, she is powered by twin CATERPILLAR 3512 C engines rated at 1765 KW @ 1800. She can reach a top speed of 18,5 knots and at a cruising speed of 16,5 knots, in maximum comfort.

The ISA 66M GRANTURISMO is a custom 4-deck yacht with an aluminum superstructure and an impressive steel hull with a straight bow. The yacht is designed by Andrea Vallicelli and the interior by Alberto Pinto. Both designers worked in very close cooperation with the yard and the Owner’s management team to combine both design and architectural aspects based on a strong contrast between the harmonious and curvaceous lines of the decks with the rigorous and diamond-like geometry of the transom and sundeck. The hull shape and bow are optimized for both efficiency and comfort.

Okto is a custom motor yacht with lots of space in relation to the total volume and her lines are sleek and graceful. The design does not achieve extra deck space by stacking the decks, there is not the piled-up effect – one layer after the other, the philosophy of the whole concept is to guarantee the owners space and comfort they would expect. This stylish interior has been subcontracted to the renowned Austrian company List General Contractor GmbH.
The naval architecture is developed in-house by ISA Technical Department in conjunction with BMT NIGEL GEE naval architects, including a comprehensive four-month cooperation with MARIN (Maritime Research Institute Netherlands) including a very intense tank testing program to evaluate all possible sea-conditions before starting the production of this very first innovative 66m l.o.a. Throughout this procedure, at various steps, a close supervision was maintained by the Owner’s team.

ISA Yachts launched 44m Hybrid Yacht "SILVER WIND"

The Italy-based shipyard ISA Yachts launched the new 44m hybrid powered yacht SILVER WIND

The tri-deck yacht SILVER WIND is a composite motor yacht with a hybrid propulsion system wich is developed in-house at ISA Yachts and Siemens. With her traditional propulsion system of two diesel engines and Rolls-Royce Kamewa waterjets SILVER WIND can reach a top speed of 32 knots and a cruising speed of 26 knots. Through reduction gear-boxes, and navigate at low speed of 8 knots with two main engines OFF; the two waterjets are powered by the two electric motors connected to the gearbox. The two diesel generators also supply power to the electric users. At electric mode, the total fuel consumption is 90 l/h for a range of 2600 nm, so extremely important for yacht transfer without guests onboard, as consumption goes from 55 l/nm at max yacht speed to 11 l/nm with electric mode on.

Her elegant exterior was created by Andrea Vallicelli and uses innovative design to influence the owner and guest experience on board. Strong diagonal lines run from the sundeck to the stern, mirroring the flair of the distinctive sweeping staircases.

Nuvolari & Lenard designed the interior of SILVER WIND with 5 cabins for 10 guests, who can enjoy navigation and at-anchor relaxing moments on the yacht extensive outdoor spaces, a huge sundeck and a cosy beach area with a generous swimming platform. Comfort at anchor is guaranteed by fixed fin stabilizers with electric actuators.

The ISA 140 series produces the company’s largest semi-custom superyachts of composite construction with hull and superstructure built from Fibre Reinforced Plastic (FRP). The composite parts of ISA 140, such as the hull, the deck, the superstructure and the accessories, have been built with vacuum assisted resin infusion (VARTM). In particular, the hull is one of the biggest one ever made on a single mould and at one go. The result is a product with superior features in terms of lightness and stiffness, compared to the boats of the same category made with traditional techniques.

New contract for ISA YACHTS

ISA Yachts signed a contract to complete a 71m yacht built by Russian shipyard Sevmash.

The exterior and interior lines were designed by H2 Yacht Design. ISA Yachts will complete the technical areas, interior works, installations, exterior furniture and installation of the teak deck.

The interior layout features a large saloon and adjoining dining room on the main deck plus a TV lounge on the upper deck. The guests accommodations include five guest cabins and two separate Owner’s suites, one on the main deck and one on the lower deck with an hinged shell door that becomes a beautiful platform right at sea level.

ISA Yachts launched 43m Granturismo "Philmi"

On 29th March, the first motor yacht of the Granturismo range was launched at ISA Yachts’ facility in Ancona and christened Philmi.

The GranTurismo was created to respond to a market demand for steel/aluminum displacement yachts with a balance between their internal and external areas, to the great benefit of the exterior design of the yacht itself. The GranTurismo concept was presented to the yachting community in September 2011 at the Monaco Yacht Show and the contract for the construction of the first 43 meter GT was signed 6 months later, in March 2012 and is the second sale in the GranTurismo range.

The increase of dimensions allows having exceptional internal volumes for a yacht of this size. Light is a major feature in the crisp interior design by Sandrine Melot. Two large skylights in the main saloon and the Owner cabin enhance the white and light gray decoration where plenty of leather by Foglizzo cover walls, ceilings, and the Owner cabin’s floor. In the stern area a gym opens onto a large swim platform while an athwart-ships tender garage hosts the tender.

M/Y PHILMI is a 2-decks steel/aluminum displacement motor yacht which main features are her very eye-catching design, excellent performance, extremely good range, and extreme comfort: the ideal yacht for a very demanding owner. PHILMI draws the attention for her strong and sporty lines and very elegant personality. The sleek hull features a plumb bow which allows making the most of the yacht’s length. Powered by 2 CAT engines, this 43-meter yacht designed by Andrea Vallicelli, can reach 17 knots max and cruises at 15 knots, with a range of 2800 nm at cruising speed. With 4 cabins plus the master, it accommodates 10 guests.

ISAYachts 43m Philmi granturismo

Interior design is by Sandrine Melot. This is the second yacht that Sandrine Melot has undertaken for the same owner. Since building his first boat, he has got married and this project is a tribute to the couple and to their love. The name of the boat which combines their names is a symbol of this and when you pronounce it, it sounds also like “feel me” and therefore contributes to the atmosphere of love and passion. The owners were very involved in the choice of every component both technical and decorative.

If there is a theme to highlight, it is the progression, the evolution, distilled in various decorative details. The palette is wide with dominant warm colors. The pale gray wood links the different spaces and their respective color themes. A maximum of natural light was accomplished by the use of skylights where possible. The bar is a masterpiece featuring a center piece designed by Sandrine Melot and specially made by Swarovski. Another masterpiece worth mentioning is the sculpture of the main saloon and the paintings of the guest cabins by the French artist Stephane Pencreac’h.

The outdoor areas are extremely generous for a boat of this size. The exterior furniture and decorative panels were specially designed for this project. The fly bridge is a particularly successful space. The bar featuring a column of ice which appears transparent but in the evening reveals its colors. Circular sun pads, integrated into the teak “beach”, beside the Jacuzzi, enjoy the shade of adjustable canopies.
